AgentOps is a developer platform for tracing, debugging, and monitoring AI agents as they move from prototype to production. Founded in 2023 by Alex Reibman, Adam Silverman, and Braelyn Boynton in San Francisco, the company grew out of the city's AI hackathon scene before raising $2.6 million in pre-seed funding from 645 Ventures and Afore Capital.
The platform instruments agent code with a lightweight SDK that captures every event, tool call, and LLM request, then renders the run as a visual timeline. A time-travel debugging feature lets engineers replay a session step by step to find where an agent went off track, and built-in cost tracking totals spend across more than 400 supported models and frameworks including OpenAI, CrewAI, and AutoGen.
AgentOps suits engineering teams shipping agentic products who need visibility beyond console logs before an agent reaches customers. The Basic tier is free for up to 5,000 events a month, Pro starts at $40/month with unlimited events and log retention, and Enterprise adds SOC 2, HIPAA, and self-hosting options at custom pricing. The core SDK is open source under an MIT license.
