Instabot builds chatbots for a business website aimed at qualifying leads, answering common questions, booking meetings and, on higher plans, handing a conversation to a live human agent. Bots can be built by a user or by Instabot’s own team as part of onboarding, and the platform includes marketing-attribution tracking, user segmentation, exportable conversation data and integrations with Zapier, Facebook Messenger, calendars, Dialogflow and CRM systems such as Salesforce and Oracle Eloqua on the higher tiers. An add-on module extends a bot into text messaging with its own dedicated business phone number, currently limited to US and Canadian subscribers.
As with any lead-qualification bot, answers pulled from a knowledge base can still be wrong or out of date, so a business should review transcripts periodically to catch bad answers before they cost a sale or frustrate a visitor. Advanced integrations such as custom NLP, webhooks and API access, along with phone support and a quarterly strategic call, are reserved for tiers above Standard, so a growing team should check where its needed features actually sit in the plan comparison rather than assuming they are included early.
Base is $49 a month for up to 5,000 monthly active users, 3 chatbots and 1 user seat. Standard is $149 a month for up to 10,000 monthly active users, 15 chatbots, 5 user seats and live chat. Advanced and Enterprise tiers add developer tools, API integration and phone support, with pricing available on request. The text-messaging add-on costs a one-time $50 setup fee for a dedicated business number, with the first 500 messages free and further 500-message bundles at $15, auto-renewing to avoid interruptions.
