Luminal works on spreadsheets you already have, cleaning and reshaping data through instructions rather than formulas. Cleaning is where spreadsheet time actually goes: deduplicating, splitting columns, fixing inconsistent dates and reconciling names that were entered six different ways.
Describing that work is far easier than expressing it in formula syntax, and it is the kind of task where the instruction is simple but the implementation is fiddly enough to lose an afternoon to.
Pricing is not published and the pricing page returns a 404. Transformations still need checking against the source, since a plausible-looking cleaned column is harder to spot as wrong than a broken one, and there is little public information about how it behaves on very large files.
