Pine makes the calls nobody wants to make. It phones providers to negotiate a bill down, cancel a subscription, dispute a charge or chase a refund, then handles the email follow-up and the forms afterwards.
The premium of these companies is built on friction. Retention lines are designed to be slow and unpleasant so that most people give up, and an agent that will sit through the hold music without getting bored inverts that arrangement. The company reports a 93 percent negotiation success rate, an average 20 percent reduction on telecom bills and around 270 minutes saved per user.
Founded in 2024, it runs on monthly credits: $319 a year for personal use, $639 for a family, $1,920 for a team, with annual plans dropping the percentage success fee. Those are the vendor’s own success figures, letting an agent negotiate means handing it account details, and outcomes depend on what the provider will concede on the day.
