Everypixel is a stock image search engine covering more than fifty sources, free and paid, with results ranked by a model trained to judge aesthetic quality. It also offers an API and digital asset management.
Aggregation plus quality ranking addresses the actual problem with stock imagery. Any individual library returns hundreds of technically matching results for a keyword, most of them unusable – and the searcher’s real work is not finding images of the subject but wading past the bad ones. Searching many libraries at once makes that worse, not better, unless something is filtering for quality, which is exactly the gap the aesthetics model fills.
The API opens the same capability to products that need automated image selection. One thing to keep in mind: an aesthetic model encodes a particular taste, and it will systematically favour a certain look – useful as a filter, and worth overriding when your brand deliberately does not look like everyone else’s. Licensing terms still come from the source library, not from Everypixel.
