Grounding assistants in the teacher’s own content is the part that makes this workable in a classroom. A general chatbot will answer a student’s question using whatever it knows, which may contradict how the topic was taught, use different notation, or go well beyond the syllabus – all of which confuses rather than helps. An assistant confined to the course material answers in the terms the student was actually taught.
Serving Spanish-language schools directly matters, since most education AI is built English-first with translation bolted on afterwards. Two things for any institution deploying it: student interactions with an assistant are personal data with particular protections for minors, and an assistant that answers at midnight is genuinely useful right up until it confidently answers something wrong – so teachers need visibility into what it is telling their class.
