Castmagic is a content-repurposing platform for podcasters and long-form creators, co-founded by Blaine Bolus and Ramon (co-hosts of DTC Pod) alongside technical co-founder Justin, and launched in March 2023. The company states it has processed more than 10 million minutes of audio for over 75,000 creators.
The platform takes a single recording, uploaded directly, pulled from a YouTube/Vimeo link, an RSS feed, Zoom, or Google Drive, and generates shownotes, highlight clips, blog posts, tweet threads, newsletters, and LinkedIn posts from it, turning one recording into 40+ content assets according to the company. Transcription strips filler words and splits content by speaker automatically before the repurposing step runs.
Castmagic is built for podcast hosts, video creators, and marketing teams who need a standing stream of written and social content from recorded conversations rather than writing each piece by hand. There is no free plan, paid tiers start at Hobby ($19/month), rising through Starter ($48/month) and Team ($139/month), with custom Business pricing from $699/month for teams needing API access.
