Gobii is an AI agent platform that runs persistent, browser-based "digital workers" capable of navigating websites, filling forms, and extracting data on a schedule or on demand. Founder Andrew Christianson, previously behind the open-source RA.Aid coding agent and a contributor to Apache NiFi, launched the company in June 2025 backed by Open Core Ventures, the firm led by GitLab founder Sid Sijbrandij.
Agents run real Chrome browsers in the cloud with full JavaScript rendering, in headed or headless mode, and each agent keeps its own identity, memory, and toolset so it can be messaged directly by email or text. A library of prebuilt roles, such as Lead Hunter, Talent Scout, and Competitor Intelligence Analyst, ships with cadences and integrations already wired for common recruiting, sales, and operations workflows.
Gobii suits engineering and operations teams that need repetitive, judgment-light web research or data collection handled without building custom scrapers. The platform is open source and self-hostable at no cost; the hosted Pro plan starts at $50/month for 1,000 monthly tasks, with a Scale tier at $250/month and custom Enterprise pricing above that.
