PopTask is an AI to-do list for iPhone, iPad and Mac where you type or say a sentence instead of filling a form. A line like “call Sam Friday at 3 for 20 minutes” becomes a scheduled task with the date, duration and list already set.
It’s free to start, with paid options for more features (check the vendor’s page for current plans and pricing), and it suits Apple users who lose tasks because capture feels like admin.
Tolerance for messy input is PopTask’s design point. Typos, shorthand and abbreviations still resolve to the task you meant.
That matters more than it sounds. Once a capture tool demands precision, people stop using it.
Two-way sync with Apple’s calendar and reminders tools keeps PopTask inside the setup you’ve already got, and other calendar services may be supported too (check the vendor’s page for the current list of integrations). It doesn’t ask you to move your schedule into another silo.
The limits are sharp. There’s no Windows, Android or web app, so mixed-device households and teams should look elsewhere. And it’s a personal capture tool, not a project manager.
