PixMaker does three things for product photography: strips backgrounds in seconds, generates realistic replacements including from a reference image you supply, and produces model shots in varied poses without booking a shoot.
The model generation is the expensive part being replaced. A product shoot with a model costs a day and a fee before anyone sees an image, which is why small sellers list on white backgrounds and lose the conversion difference. Matching a reference image also keeps a catalogue visually consistent, which is harder than it sounds when images arrive from different suppliers.
Registration gives 50 free credits. Actual tiers are not shown on the pricing page, which describes itself only as affordable and flexible, so cost cannot be assessed before signing up. Generated model imagery showing a product on a body that never wore it is a representation question worth thinking about, and fine detail on textured goods is where these tools still fail.
