Iterate.ai gives enterprises a way to deploy private AI assistants and agents grounded in their own data without sending that data to external AI services, through four integrated layers: Generate (turnkey private AI assistants and agents), Interplay (a low-code platform for building custom AI applications and workflows), AgentWatch (governance, auditing and cost control across users, agents and models) and Lifeboat, described as the world’s first confidential-compute inference engine, built specifically for agentic workloads with repeated model calls, parallel tasks and long-running sessions rather than single chatbot prompts. A separate Extract product handles intelligent document processing entirely without sending data to the cloud, deployable on AWS Marketplace, as SaaS, or on dedicated NVIDIA or Dell hardware. Founded in 2013 and based in San Jose, California, the company (also operating as Iterate Studio) has raised $6.4 million as of a mid-2025 round, holds several US patents on its Interplay and Generate technology, and announced a partnership with NetApp in May 2026 to deliver turnkey private AI infrastructure.
Iterate.ai’s own site states it was named among the “world’s 20 hottest AI companies” for 2025 and 2026 — a claim worth treating as the vendor’s own marketing rather than independently verified. As an enterprise platform aimed at private, on-premises or VPC deployment, it needs real technical setup and infrastructure ownership rather than working as a plug-and-play hosted service.
Pricing is not published; Iterate.ai sells its Generate, Interplay, AgentWatch, Lifeboat and Extract products directly to enterprises through a sales conversation rather than a self-serve plan.
