RipX is a digital audio workstation from Hit’n’Mix Ltd that the company calls the AI DAW. Its starting point is stem separation, which splits a finished song into six or more parts. It then goes further than stem splitting by offering note-level extraction: the program breaks fully mixed audio down into its notes, harmonics and sounds, so that a producer can edit audio in a way the company compares to editing MIDI.
The tools built on that analysis include editing individual notes inside the mix, replacing a sound with another, and isolating elements that are hidden in a recording. The product line has RipX DAW, a PRO edition aimed at advanced stem editing, an iPhone app and a Backstage section. One feature is described as macOS only, and the pages read do not list other operating systems, so check the system requirements before buying.
The homepage advertises a starting price of $99, shown with a dollar sign and no currency name, and a 21-day free trial of RipX DAW PRO. Detailed prices for each edition are on the Try and Buy pages and were not confirmed.
