DigitalOwl is a medical-record analysis company founded in 2017 by CEO Yuval Man and CTO Amit Man, headquartered in Tel Aviv, Israel. The company built natural-language-processing technology specifically for parsing dense, inconsistently formatted medical records, a document type that resists generic AI summarization tools.
The platform ingests scanned or digital medical records, identifies key clinical facts and event timelines, and outputs structured summaries that a claims adjuster or attorney can review in place of reading hundreds of raw pages. DigitalOwl raised a $20 million Series A led by Insight Partners in January 2022 and has since expanded with a self-serve portal and chat interface for querying a case's records directly.
DigitalOwl is built for insurance claims and underwriting teams and personal-injury or disability attorneys who process large volumes of medical documentation. Self-serve pricing starts at $400 per month for the Essential plan covering 1,000 pages, with custom plans available for higher volume.
