Lutra AI was founded in 2023 by Bo Zhi See and Jiquan Ngiam, a former Google Brain researcher and Coursera's first employee, and is based in Mountain View, California.
Instead of a fixed no-code flowchart builder, Lutra converses with the user in natural language to understand the goal, then generates and runs actual code that pulls data, sends emails, or builds reports across connected apps, adjusting the generated workflow as requirements change rather than locking it into a rigid template. Reusable 'Playbooks' let a workflow be triggered again on demand once it's been built.
Lutra fits individuals and small teams automating multi-step tasks like data extraction, email management, and reporting without hiring an engineer. The free plan includes 100 credits a month, Essentials runs $29 a month for 2,000 credits, Professional is $79 a month for 6,000 credits, and Enterprise pricing is custom.
