formsflow.ai is an open-source, low-code form-and-workflow automation platform built by AOT Technologies, a company founded in Victoria, British Columbia in 2011 by George Philip and Praveen Ramachandran. The formsflow.ai project itself has been in active development since at least 2020, based on its GitHub license history, and has shipped more than 30 versioned releases.
The platform combines Form.io for drag-and-drop form building, the BPMN 2.0-compliant Camunda engine for workflow orchestration, Keycloak for identity and access management, and Redash for analytics into one open-source stack, so organizations can assemble form-led business applications without licensing four separate tools. AOT has since layered robotic process automation and agentic orchestration capabilities on top of the core stack.
formsflow.ai targets government agencies and regulated enterprises that need auditable, standards-based workflow automation and control over their own hosting rather than a proprietary SaaS-only tool. The open-source core carries no license fee; organizations pay only for hosting, support, and custom integration work through AOT Technologies.
