Gridly is a localization and content management platform originally developed in 2020 inside LocalizeDirect, a Swedish game-localization company founded in 2009 by Christoffer Nilsson and Mattias Wennerholm. The founders spun Gridly out as an independent company in 2022, relocating its headquarters to Helsingborg, Sweden.
The platform presents multilingual content in a spreadsheet-style grid and combines three modules under one roof: a content management system, a translation management system, and computer-assisted translation tools, with AI-assisted suggestions built into the translation workflow. Teams can pull content from source systems, manage it centrally, and push finished localized strings back into their products.
Gridly serves game studios and software companies managing multilingual content across markets, counting more than 130 customers including Rovio, Scopely, and Warner Bros. Games. Pricing is modular across its CMS, TMS, and CAT products, with Basic tiers starting around €50-99 per month per module and custom Enterprise pricing for teams needing every module at scale.
