BlockSurvey encrypts survey responses end to end, so the answers are readable by the person who ran the survey and by nobody else, including BlockSurvey. For most survey platforms the responses sit in plaintext on the vendor’s servers, which is fine until the subject matter is health, pay, harassment or anything else people answer honestly only when they believe the promise.
That is the whole argument for it. Encryption changes what respondents are willing to say, which changes the quality of the data far more than any question-design feature does.
There is a free tier. The trade-off is real: analysis that would need the platform to read plaintext is harder to offer, and the integration ecosystem is smaller than the mainstream survey tools it competes with.
