Taiga answers programming questions inside Slack: code examples, explanations of error messages, review feedback and practice problems, in conversation rather than as a search result. It came out of Coyotiv School of Software Engineering, originally for their own students.
Living in Slack rather than a separate tab is the whole design. A learner stuck on an error asks in the channel they are already in, and because the exchange happens in a shared channel the rest of the team sees both the question and the answer, which is how the useful half of mentoring actually spreads.
It runs anywhere Slack does, desktop or phone. The caveats are real: no pricing appears anywhere on the site and the only action offered is adding it to a workspace, so cost is unknown; a bot in a shared channel means questions are public to that channel; and a mentor built on a general model still gives confidently wrong answers that a learner is least equipped to catch.
