StressLess is a conversational tool for managing stress, anxiety and burnout, reachable through WhatsApp or in the browser with no app and no account. It offers coping strategies drawn from established approaches, professionally validated assessments and curated resources, and is offered to individuals, to therapists for between-session support, and to employers. Conversations are stated as not used for training. The basic plan is free for individuals.
Two things are done responsibly and deserve saying, because this is a category where they are frequently not. The site states plainly that it is **not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment**, not a substitute for therapy, and should not be the sole treatment for serious conditions — put where a user will read it rather than buried in terms. And requiring no account removes a real barrier: the moment someone is willing to reach out is not the moment to ask them to create a login, and WhatsApp is where a lot of people already are.
The limits are worth stating as plainly as the vendor states them. A conversational tool cannot assess risk, cannot escalate, and cannot tell the difference between ordinary stress and something that needs urgent human help — **if you are in crisis, contact a local crisis line or emergency services, not a chatbot.** The between-session use with a therapist who knows you is the strongest version of this; the employer-purchased version is the one to think hardest about, since a wellbeing app is not a substitute for the working conditions causing the stress. Premium and corporate rates are not published.
