Unearth AI, built by Australian company Wild Mouse, is a sovereign enterprise AI platform – it unifies an organisation’s data into what the vendor calls an organisation AI layer, aimed at proactive governance and decision-making rather than at individual productivity.
Sovereignty is the substantive differentiator and not a marketing flourish. Australian government agencies, regulators and critical infrastructure operators face data residency and jurisdiction requirements that rule out most enterprise AI platforms outright, whatever their capabilities. A domestically built and hosted option addresses a procurement constraint rather than a feature gap – which is a much harder thing for a larger competitor to answer.
One claim deserves scrutiny during evaluation. Wild Mouse markets “hallucination-free intelligence”, and no system built on generative models can guarantee that in absolute terms. It may well mean a retrieval-grounded architecture that constrains outputs to source documents, which is a genuinely good design – but ask precisely what the architecture is and test it against your own data before accepting the phrasing. “Trusted by regulators” is likewise a vendor claim worth asking for references on.
