Textkernel, founded in 2001 and now part of Bullhorn, sells AI recruitment technology built around a small set of named products. The Parser extracts structured data from CVs, resumes and job postings; Source and Match is a semantic matching engine for finding and ranking candidates against roles; Skills Intelligence standardises skills against a taxonomy; and Labor Market Insights analyses job-market data using deep learning, including identifying whether a posting comes from a staffing agency or a direct employer.
Parsing is the unglamorous foundation of recruiting software, and Textkernel’s position is that it sits inside other vendors’ products: the site says 2,500 HR software vendors, employers, job boards and government bodies use it, with more than 100 ATS and HR software integrations and coverage of 15 key markets. Named customers include Randstad, Manpower, Adecco, Kelly Services and the UK Office for National Statistics. Recruiters may meet it inside their applicant tracking system rather than as a standalone tool.
Pricing is quote-only. Accuracy claims, including being the industry’s most used parsing engine, are vendor statements, so test the parser on your own CVs in the languages you recruit in, and check how ranking decisions can be explained and audited, since automated candidate screening is regulated in a growing number of jurisdictions.
