AudioDenoise removes hiss, background noise and hum from audio directly inside Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer, Pro Tools, Final Cut Pro, Audition, DaVinci Resolve, Logic, GarageBand and Audacity, aimed at video editors and podcasters who need clean dialogue fast without becoming an audio specialist first. Its AI model targets complex noise, such as an air conditioner hum layered under a voice, that a purely mechanical noise gate struggles with, and leaves the remaining voice sounding natural rather than processed. It is sold as part of the CrumplePop plugin bundle alongside sibling tools EchoRemover, WindRemover, TrafficRemover, ClipRemover, PopRemover, RustleRemover, Levelmatic and Voice Enhance, plus a standalone SoundApp application, all developed by Boris FX after its acquisition of CrumplePop.
AudioDenoise and the rest of the CrumplePop suite process audio locally on a user’s own computer rather than uploading it to a cloud service, which the company positions as a genuine privacy and speed advantage over cloud-based denoising tools; a team with strict client-confidentiality requirements should still confirm this against its own compliance needs before relying on it for sensitive recordings. As with any AI denoiser, heavy or unusual noise can still leave audible artifacts, so a critical project should preview the processed result at full volume before finalizing a mix.
AudioDenoise is sold through the CrumplePop bundle rather than as a standalone purchase. Subscriptions start around $18 a month, or $180 a year, for the CrumplePop plugin collection, and a perpetual license with lifetime access is available for $599. A free tier and free trial are also available with a reduced feature set.
