Kwizie turns an existing training video, whether searched directly from YouTube inside the platform, pasted as a link, or uploaded, into an interactive assessment: AI drafts questions directly inside the viewing experience, and a trainer sets passing scores, retry limits and time constraints before reviewing and editing every generated question. Once published, Kwizie issues certificates automatically on completion, keeps timestamped, per-participant completion and score records for audit purposes, and can restrict access by name, email or ID number, all without building a full course inside a separate learning management system. Made in Finland and Switzerland and led by CEO and co-founder Chris Petrie, who has a prior exit from Kahoot, the company states more than 200,000 trainers and teams worldwide use it for compliance certification, safety training and continuing education.
Kwizie proves a participant watched and answered questions about a video, which is meaningfully different from proving they can actually perform a skill in practice, so a safety-critical training program should still pair it with hands-on assessment where the stakes call for it. AI-generated questions are reviewed and edited by the trainer before publishing rather than published automatically, which is the right safeguard for this use case, but it does mean a trainer should budget time for that review step rather than assume every generated question is ready to ship unchecked.
