Voicegain is a voice AI platform for organizations that want to build and deploy conversational voice agents, with deployment options on its own HIPAA and SOC 2 compliant cloud, in a private cloud VPC or air-gapped on-premises. It names five product lines: Casey, a pre-built voice AI suite that automates member and provider calls for healthcare payers; Clara, an ambient listening and medical scribe for home-based care; an AI Voice Agent Platform for custom conversational IVR; MRCP ASR for grammar-based recognition on on-premises IVR platforms; and developer APIs and SDKs.
The developer APIs cover speech-to-text in batch and streaming modes, a telephony bot that joins SIP sessions, and speech analytics for sentiment, entities and intent. Three proprietary models are named: Omega for batch accuracy, Kappa for streaming with sub-100ms latency and Voicegain-Whisper for multilingual recognition in more than 15 languages. The company cites 89% accuracy on call audio and certifications including HIPAA, SOC 2 Type 2 and PCI DSS.
New developers get $50 of platform credit with no credit card. Cloud usage is priced at $0.00020 per second of audio, which works out to about $0.012 a minute, and on-premises or VPC Edge deployments are licensed per port each month. Prices are USD from the company’s developer page.
