Infermedica builds AI triage software for healthcare organizations. Its customers are health systems, insurers, telemedicine companies, public health bodies and pharmaceutical firms, and the company says the platform has been deployed in more than 30 countries since 2012. Patients describe their symptoms, the system assesses how urgent the case is, and it points them to self-care, a consultation or emergency services.
The product line covers several entry points. Conversational Triage holds a natural dialogue with the patient in place of a form. The Call Center Voice Agent answers a triage line, collects symptoms, assesses acuity and prepares a structured handoff for a nurse. Intake gathers structured patient data before a visit, and an API lets developers build the triage engine into their own apps. Behind these sit a medical knowledge base and an inference engine that the company maintains with clinical review.
The platform is certified as a Class IIb medical device under the EU Medical Device Regulation and registered with the UK MHRA. Infermedica also lists ISO 13485, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA and SOC 2 Type 2 compliance. Pricing is not published; organizations contact sales, and a savings calculator is available on the site.
