Sinch runs communications infrastructure for businesses: APIs for SMS, RCS, WhatsApp, voice, email and phone number verification, along with ready-made applications for marketing and customer engagement. The company says more than 200,000 customers use it, and it now pitches the platform as the infrastructure that AI agents send messages and place calls through.
Its AI page lists capabilities by product. In messaging, AIT detection identifies and blocks artificially inflated traffic, a form of SMS fraud, and Smart Conversations adds sentiment detection, PII masking and speech-to-text. In voice, Voice Relay, which is in beta, lets a text-based AI system hold live phone calls in more than 160 languages. Email has a Deliverability Assistant for inbox health and sender reputation, with anomaly detection. For builders there is an Agent Builder in Chatlayer, the company’s chatbot product, and an MCP Server that connects Sinch to AI development environments.
The site shows no pricing figures; rates depend on channel, country and volume. A free start is offered for developers and sales handles enterprise contracts. Several AI features are marked beta, and the site does not say which plans include them.
