WowTo is a tool for making instructional videos, aimed at customer support and training teams. A video starts from a screen recording made with its Chrome extension, or from a PowerPoint or PDF file, and is assembled into step-by-step how-to content. Finished videos can be collected in a branded, searchable video knowledge base and embedded in a help site with a widget.
The AI features handle narration and presenters. Text is converted to an AI voiceover in one click, with more than 300 voices and over 20 languages and dialects, and subtitles are generated alongside. Talking AI avatars from a library can be added to present a video. The plans meter this with monthly text-to-speech minutes and avatar credits. Integrations include Intercom, Zendesk, Jira, Confluence, Shopify, Slack and Zapier.
The Free plan costs $0 with no time limit and covers 3 video projects, one knowledge base, basic text-to-speech and a WowTo watermark, with videos capped at 2 minutes. On the US pricing page Plus is $25 a month or $250 a year for 25 projects with premium voices, and Business is $45 a month or $450 a year with unlimited collaborators, a custom domain and video analytics.
