Arvin is an AI assistant that lives in the browser. The extension for Chrome and Edge opens with a keyboard shortcut and adds buttons on sites such as Twitter, LinkedIn and Gmail, so a user can ask for help without leaving the page. A web app holds the longer sessions, and a separate product, Arvin Design, makes logos and signatures. The company behind it is Idealabs PTE. LTD.
Arvin does not train its own model. The site says it is powered by GPT, Claude, Gemini and similar models, and its FAQ says it uses the ChatGPT API, so its own contribution is the interface, the credit system and the bundled tools. Those include chat, AI search, chat with a PDF, email reply generation, article writing, grammar checking and rewriting, web page translation in more than 25 languages, an AI image generator, background removal and PDF conversion.
The service is free to start, and users receive daily credits that can be spent on the chat models and summarizers. Paid plans and a refund policy are mentioned, but the site shows no prices and its pricing page returns a 404, so the cost of going beyond the daily credits cannot be stated here.
