Anvilogic builds an AI-assisted security operations platform focused on detection engineering — writing, testing, and maintaining the detection rules that flag threats inside SIEM and data lake systems. Deb Banerjee and Karthik Kannan founded the Palo Alto company in 2019.
Rather than requiring a full migration to a new SIEM, Anvilogic sits across a customer's existing data platforms — Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, and Snowflake among them — and applies detection-as-code workflows with AI-assisted triage to cut the manual work of building and tuning detections. The company states this multi-platform approach can cut SIEM licensing costs by up to 80% by shifting heavy data storage to cheaper lakes while keeping detection coverage intact.
Anvilogic is built for mature security operations teams and detection engineers at mid-size to large enterprises. Pricing is not public and reported enterprise deals range from roughly $65,000 to $159,000 per year depending on data volume; Snowflake Ventures is among its investors.
