Andesite builds what it calls a 'Human+AI SOC' — a security operations platform that pairs automated investigation with analyst oversight. The company was founded in 2023 and is based in McLean, Virginia, entering the market with backing that included General Catalyst.
Instead of replacing security analysts, Andesite's platform automates the repetitive parts of incident response: pulling context on an alert, enriching it with threat intelligence, and assembling an investigation workspace an analyst can act on directly rather than starting from a blank alert queue. The platform has achieved FedRAMP High authorization, a bar aimed at government and highly regulated customers.
Andesite fits security operations centers dealing with alert fatigue and headcount constraints, from mid-market SOC teams to federal agencies. Pricing is not published and the company sells through a demo-request and sales-led process rather than self-serve signup.
