ChatWP answers WordPress questions from a model trained on the official WordPress documentation, and says plainly that this is its scope. It also lets you build your own version on your own docs.
Constraining the source is exactly right for this subject. WordPress has twenty years of accumulated advice scattered across forums, blog posts and Stack Overflow answers, much of it referring to functions deprecated a decade ago – and a general assistant will happily reproduce it, because there is more of the old advice than the current documentation. Grounding in the official docs is the difference between an answer that works and one that worked in 2014.
The framing is refreshingly modest: it will do its best to answer accurately and truthfully, which is a more honest claim than most. The limitation follows from the strength – anything the official documentation covers poorly, it will also answer poorly, and documentation coverage of edge cases in the plugin ecosystem is thin.
