Immunai builds an AI platform that maps the human immune system at single-cell resolution to help pharmaceutical companies find new drug targets faster. Noam Solomon, Luis Voloch, Ansuman Satpathy, and Danny Wells founded the company in December 2018, operating out of New York and Tel Aviv.
The platform, called AMICA-OS, combines one of the industry's largest clinical immunology datasets with machine learning models trained on single-cell multi-omic data, letting researchers query how specific immune cell populations behave across diseases rather than running each analysis from scratch. Immunai runs three main service lines built on this data: target discovery, preclinical evaluation, and clinical trial optimization for partner drug programs.
Immunai works with pharmaceutical and biotech companies running drug discovery programs rather than individual researchers or clinicians. The company doesn't publish self-serve pricing; instead, it structures deals as R&D partnerships and milestone-based collaborations, including an AstraZeneca agreement worth up to $37.5 million and a $15 million target-discovery deal with Boehringer Ingelheim, with total funding raised across the company reaching roughly $295 million.
