Trovo Health takes a hybrid position that is unusual and, in clinical work, sensible. Rather than presenting AI as a replacement for clinical staff, its Care Agents combine AI with expert clinicians to perform clinical support tasks, so the model handles scale and the clinician handles judgement and accountability.
The problem it addresses is capacity. Clinical staffing shortages are structural rather than temporary, and much of a clinician's time goes to support tasks that require clinical knowledge but not necessarily their full expertise. Adding capacity to that layer relieves pressure without asking a model to make decisions it should not make.
The hybrid model has a clear implication: it is a service as much as software, so cost and scaling behave differently from a pure software product. That is also its main strength, since accountability stays with a named clinician rather than an algorithm.
