Jammable is an AI voice cover platform that lets users turn a song into a cover performed by a cloned voice model, drawing from a community-uploaded library of more than 20,000 voices. Aditya Bansal, then a computer science student at the University of Southampton, built the product from his dorm room in 2022 under the name Voicify AI. Facing copyright complaints from the UK music industry body BPI and record labels over unauthorized cloning of artists' voices, the company rebranded to Jammable in 2024.
Users upload or select a source track, choose a voice model from the library, and Jammable's audio pipeline separates vocals from instrumentals, applies the target voice, and remixes the result back together, alongside tools for pitch correction, timing adjustment, and acapella extraction. Community members can also train and upload their own custom voice models, which is both the platform's core creative feature and the source of most of its legal controversy, since a number of uploaded models replicate real musicians' voices without permission.
Jammable suits hobbyist musicians, meme and mashup creators, and anyone experimenting with AI voice covers for non-commercial use, rather than commercial music production. The Basic plan starts at $8.99 a month for 25 monthly credits, with a Creator plan at $24.99 a month for unlimited credits and custom voice models; there is no permanent free tier.
