JIT.codes is an AI code playground in which users describe what they want, pick a model from a selector that shows GLM 4.5 by default, and get generated code with a live preview that can be edited, shared by link and hosted for free. It supports multiple models, agents and code in any language, adds real-time editing and share links, and has an Explore feed of public creations and an AI Arena for comparing models. It is a different product from Jit.io, the security company, and is operated by JIT Labs.
The pricing model is the interesting part and is unusually transparent: generation is charged at the model provider’s cost plus a platform fee, so heavy use of an expensive model costs more than light use of a cheap one. The free plan adds a 10% fee and makes projects public by default, sharing them to the community feed, while Pro removes the fee and makes projects private by default. The site reports more than 130,000 users and developers and shows customer logos; treat both as self-reported.
Free costs $0 a month plus pay-as-you-go generation at provider cost plus 10%. Pro is $19 a month, with about two months free on yearly billing, a 0% platform fee, private mode, no upload limits subject to fair use, priority routing, early access to new models and $5 of welcome credits. Credit packs of $5, $20, $50 and $150 can be bought at any time. Because free projects are public by default, do not put private code or secrets into a free-plan project.
