KnowBuddy.ai is a message-based AI assistant accessible entirely through WhatsApp: no app download or password required, just send a message to get an answer back right away. Beyond basic Q&A, it remembers user details and preferences to personalize future responses, provides location-specific recommendations (farmers markets, regional events), and analyzes images sent to it.
Proactive outreach is the feature that separates this from a purely reactive chatbot – rather than waiting for a question, KnowBuddy can initiate contact to check in on a user based on their previously stated interests, which is a meaningfully different interaction model than sit-and-wait assistants. Framing security and scam prevention as a stated priority also matters directly for a WhatsApp-based assistant, given how much scam activity already happens over messaging apps.
KnowBuddy.ai targets people wanting simplified AI access without learning a new app or interface – “if you can send a message, you can use AI.” The product is currently in pre-registration, recruiting beta testers ahead of a full launch; pricing has not yet been published.
