Oxolo is a voice assistant built for the construction industry: speak naturally on site and it generates transcripts, extracts tasks and completes construction documentation and protocols.
Voice is the correct interface for this setting, and the reason is physical. Site documentation is currently written in a van at the end of the day, from memory, hours after the observation – because nobody types a defect report while holding a tape measure in the rain. Capturing it by speech at the moment of observation changes both the accuracy and whether it gets recorded at all.
Understanding construction vocabulary is what makes it viable, since generic transcription mangles trade terminology and produces notes needing more correction than they saved. Two things to check: site documentation frequently carries contractual weight in disputes, so verify how records are stored and exported – and site audio is noisy, so test it in your actual conditions rather than an office.
