Proscia’s Concentriq manages digital pathology: scanned slide images reviewed, managed and interpreted across clinical diagnosis, biomarker research, clinical trials and companion diagnostics. It comes in AP-Dx, AP and LS configurations for those different jobs.
The AP-Dx version is FDA-cleared for primary clinical diagnosis, which is the sentence that matters. Pathology has been the last major imaging discipline to go digital, largely because a diagnosis made from a screen instead of a microscope has to clear a regulatory bar, and clearing it is what separates a working clinical product from a research viewer.
It runs in over 4,000 hospitals and clinics, is used by 16 of the top 20 pharma companies, handles about 12 million cases a year and was rated highest in KLAS 2026 for digital pathology in both the US and Europe. Nothing is priced publicly, it requires compatible scanning hardware such as the Leica Aperio GT 450 DX, and digital pathology adoption is a laboratory-wide programme rather than a purchase.
