Vanta, founded in 2018 by Christina Cacioppo and Erik Goldman, automates the evidence-collection grind behind security compliance, connecting to more than 400 systems to pull the logs and configuration data an auditor needs rather than requiring a team to screenshot and document everything by hand.
That breadth of integration is built specifically for speed to a first audit: Vanta positions itself for early-stage companies racing to get SOC 2 or ISO 27001 ready before a deal requires it, and the company reported reaching $300 million in annual recurring revenue in April 2026, up 69% year over year, with more than 16,000 customers. Its Agentic Trust Platform, shipped in November 2025, extends automation into ongoing monitoring beyond initial evidence collection alone.
Entry pricing for a single framework runs roughly $10,000 to $12,000 a year for a company under 50 employees, with most growing companies paying $25,000 to $55,000 and larger multi-framework organizations reaching $50,000 to $110,000 or more. For a startup racing toward its first SOC 2 or ISO 27001 audit, rather than a mature organization managing several overlapping frameworks, Vanta's integration breadth and speed-to-audit focus address that directly.
