VoiceGPT brings ChatGPT to Android with unlimited free messaging, voice input and output across more than 67 languages and accents, hands-free hotword activation (“Hey, Chat”), and a floating InstaBubble widget for switching into the assistant from any app. Its OCR feature reads text from a loaded or captured photo and sends it straight to GPT, RunGPT lets a user execute code in more than 70 languages with instant output, and the app supports DALL-E 2 image generation, chat history synced with the web version of ChatGPT, and ChatGPT Plus accounts for users who already subscribe. It is made by AI Chat & Voice Systems, a small studio that also runs four related apps cross-linked from VoiceGPT’s own site: VoiceTask AI (voice task management, 4.8 rating), MenuGuide (AI menu translator, 4.7 rating), Kaloria AI (AI nutrition tracking, 4.8 rating, 15K+ users) and WishMe AI (AI birthday reminders, 4.8 rating, 10K+ users).
VoiceGPT’s own site is explicit that it is an unaffiliated third-party client and not an official OpenAI, Google or ChatGPT product, so a user should understand they are trusting a third-party app with their ChatGPT usage rather than using OpenAI’s own client. No social media presence was found for the studio beyond its app websites and a support email address.
VoiceGPT is free to use with unlimited messages and a small non-intrusive ad banner; the company states there are no disruptive ads. ChatGPT Plus features work within the app for users who already hold a Plus subscription through OpenAI directly.
