Runnr handles guest communication for hotels, aparthotels, holiday parks and rentals: WhatsApp, SMS, OTA messaging and webchat unified into one inbox, with a virtual concierge answering the repetitive questions, online check-in and payment, and PMS integration so requests reach the right system.
Upselling inside the reply is the commercial argument. A guest asking about check-out time is the ideal moment to offer late check-out, and a front desk under pressure never makes that offer. The company puts upsell revenue at EUR 30 to 50 per room per month against WhatsApp costs averaging about EUR 0.75, which is the kind of arithmetic that decides the purchase.
It is built by former Booking.com people, aimed at properties with at least ten rooms, with proactive messaging reporting 98 percent open rates. Pricing is described only as flexible by property size, the 95 percent automation figure is the vendor’s own, and guests who realise they are being upsold by software respond differently to guests who do not.
