Creately is a visual collaboration platform combining an infinite whiteboard with structured diagramming – two modes usually sold as separate products.
That combination is the point. Work starts loose on a whiteboard and needs to become a real flowchart, org chart or architecture diagram, and having both on one canvas avoids rebuilding the thinking in a second tool. AI diagram generation handles the initial structure, with the vendor framing it as idea to execution faster. Over 1,000 templates cover the common starting points.
It is aimed at teams working visually together rather than individuals producing a single diagram, so the collaboration features carry much of the value. Worth checking template and diagram-type coverage against what you actually produce, since breadth varies by category.
