Targum Video is a translation service built for short social videos. A user pastes a social media post URL or uploads a video, and the service translates the spoken audio into another language, with a dashboard workflow and a Twitter bot, credited to @vidtranslator, that can reply to a video with a translated version. Paid tiers add downloadable MP4 and SRT subtitle files, a Telegram bot, custom or removed watermarks and a priority queue for larger volumes, and translation covers 99+ languages according to the site.
The pricing page itself shows signs of not being kept current: it still displays a promotional banner reading that introductory pricing will end on 15 July 2023, a date years in the past, while the footer copyright reads 2026, and it marks GPT-4 augmented translation and the Twitter bot integration as coming soon or temporarily down. That mix suggests the product is maintained but its marketing and roadmap messaging is not, so confirm current features and any promised upgrades directly before subscribing. As with any machine translation of speech, tone, idioms and specialised vocabulary can be lost or mistranslated, so a video meant for a professional or sensitive audience should have its translation checked by a fluent speaker.
Starter is $6 a month for 30 minutes of translation, videos up to 10 minutes long and a 90 MB file limit. Basic is $15 a month for 60 minutes, downloadable MP4 and SRT files, Telegram bot access, videos up to 30 minutes and a 200 MB limit. Creator/Business is $50 a month for 300 minutes, a priority queue, customisable watermarks, videos up to 60 minutes, a 500 MB limit and metered overage billed afterward at $0.20 a minute. Annual billing gives two months free on every tier.
