Atlas is a web research workspace where a researcher asks a question, sees the evidence and synthesises findings in one place. Answers are shown with mind maps and knowledge maps, and the site stresses citations that trace each claim back to its source.
Features include searching scholarly literature from a research question, adding relevant papers to a project, analysing uploaded documents, literature review grounded in the user’s own sources, and open-access paper discovery on the paid plan. Projects and notes are unlimited, and notes and sources can be exported.
The free plan allows ten sources and five AI messages, enough to try the workflow. Pro costs $16 a month, with a 20% saving on yearly billing, and removes the AI message and source limits and adds multi-step synthesis, agentic research workflows and priority support.
