ComicsMaker.ai is a web comic studio operated by RedRivet Software LLP. Users create reusable characters from prompts, or train custom LoRA models from their own reference images so a character keeps the same look, generate scene panels from text, edit panels with prompts, lay out pages with a page designer that controls panel size, spacing and orientation, and export finished pages. A one-shot mode makes short comics from a single premise. The homepage cites 500K+ users, 100K+ characters created and 10M+ scenes generated, all vendor figures, shows a sample gallery and links a Discord community. The site does not name the image models.
Some points need care. Training a character on uploaded reference images can reproduce a real person’s likeness, and the pages reviewed do not say what rights or consent are required for those images, so use only your own artwork or photos of people who agreed. The terms, effective 27 July 2023, say users keep ownership of what they create, allow personal or commercial use and bar conduct that harms minors, and they refer to comics published to a public gallery, so check what is shared. Generated art can resemble existing characters, and the site says nothing about how that is prevented. The site carries a 2025 copyright and no postal address.
