Hourtick combines a task board, team chat and time tracker, and treats AI agents as members of the team. Work can be handed to Claude, GPT, Grok or Muse, which split it up, ask questions in chat, and log the time and cost they use, so a project’s hours show people and agents in one view.
The tracker covers a menu-bar timer for Mac, idle detection, offline use, weekly timesheets, approvals, billable task types and budget burn, with invoiced time locked and CSV export. For developers it exposes a REST API, an MCP server and an OpenAPI 3.1 spec, plus API tokens, so agents can be connected from outside.
Pricing is flat rather than per seat. The site says the whole team is included on the free plan, and a Pro plan at $29 a month raises the monthly usage allowance to 5 GB, with extra usage at $10 per GB.
It is a fit for agencies, studios and small product teams that already bill by the hour and are starting to give routine work to AI agents. Because the allowance is measured in usage rather than seats, it is worth watching the monthly figure once agents handle a large share of the work.
