In-House Health builds an AI-driven scheduling and workforce-management platform purpose-built for hospital and health-system nursing teams. Founded in 2023 by Ari Brenner, Sergey Vasilenko, and Shachar Har Zvi in Denver, Colorado, the company combines a former critical-care nurse's clinical background with engineering experience from Stellar Health and Google.
The platform forecasts patient census and acuity levels in advance, then automatically builds shift schedules that balance workload, pair experienced nurses with newer staff, and stay within union rules and regulatory skill-mix requirements. In a customer case study, hospitals using In-House Health's predictive model staffed 87% of shifts at optimal levels while cutting the total number of shifts needed by up to 10%.
In-House Health sells to hospital and health-system nurse leaders rather than individual clinicians, and pricing is negotiated per organization rather than published. The company raised a $4-5.4 million seed round led by NEA and TMV to expand the platform beyond its initial customers.
