LongShot AI is no longer operating. The company's own site now shows a discontinuation notice stating it shut down in mid-2025 after roughly four years serving an estimated 200,000 users, with a note directing former users to contact the founder directly for questions.
While it was active, LongShot positioned itself as a long-form, fact-checkable content generator aimed at SEO-focused blog writing, with statistics lookup and source-citation features meant to reduce the fabricated-facts problem common in earlier-generation AI writers. It built a following among content marketers during the first wave of GPT-based writing tools.
We're keeping this listing up for reference and because former users may still search for it, but there is no active product to sign up for, and any pricing or feature information beyond what's noted here should be treated as historical rather than current.
