SpriteFrame makes sprite sheets for 2D games. A developer uploads a character image, ideally full body on a plain white background, picks a motion such as idle, walk, run, attack, hit, jump, death or wave, adds an animation directive, and the AI generates the frames.
Output settings include 16, 25, 49 or 64 total frames, durations from one to five seconds, and frame sizes from 128 by 128 to 768 by 768 pixels. The result can be previewed, edited and exported as PNG, JSON or ZIP for use in a game engine. Two free tools convert existing PNG frames or an MP4 video into a sprite sheet without credits.
The free plan includes 60 signup credits, enough for up to three AI sprite sheets. Basic is $12 a month for 3,500 credits and Pro is $29 a month for 9,000 credits, and credits that are bought never expire, for example 1,800 credits for $9.
