Strawberry is a macOS and Windows browser with AI companions built in. They transcribe meetings, build branded slide decks and infographics, automate routine browser work, enrich data and run research across sites. Ordinary browsing costs nothing; credits are consumed only when a companion acts.
Transcribing without a meeting bot is the detail worth noticing. Note-taking tools normally join the call as a visible participant, which changes the room, requires permission and is often blocked outright by corporate policy. Capturing from the browser side sidesteps all of that, though it raises its own consent question that belongs to whoever runs the meeting.
Dendrite Systems offers 2,000 credits free, then $20, $100 and $250 a month for 8,000 to 75,000, with top-ups at $10 per 1,000. Switching browsers is a real change of habit, an agent operating inside your browser acts within every session you are signed into, and recording a meeting without a visible bot still requires telling the other participants.
